Taking leave from work when diagnosed with malaria is the right thing to do. A couple of days off from the office will give your body the rest it requires to heal. Here is a sample email for Sick Leave for malaria.

I request to grant me leave for a week from July 10 to July 17. I will let you know if I need an extension on the leave period.
